indent Where is the Port/City of Embarkation for the Northern Route?

indent The ship will leave from the Batangas International Container Port. Use or ask to be directed to GATE.

 

indent What time is embarkation?

indent Embarkation time in Batangas Int’l Container Port is at 2pm .  While pick up in Coco Beach Island Resort is at 4pm.
You will be checked in upon arrival, given forms/disclaimers to fill out and shown to your room.

 

indent What time is disembarkation?

indent On the day of arrival, the ship is usually in port by 6 am and guest are disembarked after breakfast – 9am.

indent How does one get to Batangas from Manila?

indent We can provide private transfers from your hotel to the ship. Alternatively there are public buses from Makati to Batangas City Port.

 

indent How long does it take to go to Batangas from Manila?

indent From Manila, it is approximately 2 ½ hours going to Batangas.

 

indent Can you arrange transfers going to Batangas? Hotel stays in Manila?

indent Yes, we can arrange your land transfers/ hotel arrangements.

 

indent What is included in the Diving Liveaboard Package?

indent Accommodations on board, 4 no decompression dives per day, tanks, weights, weight belt, boat, services of a divemaster ,all meals, and complimentary tea, coffee.

 

indent How many dives they could do in one day?

indent Guests can do maximum of 4 Dives .

 

indent What are the taxes or fees not included in the package?

indent The taxes that are not included in the package Conservation Fees which is US $50.00/person, airport terminal fees (200 pesos in Manila and 200 pesos in Cebu), gear rentals, courses,  soda/alcoholic drinks and souvenir items on board.

indent Do I need a Visa and Passport?

indent A valid passport is required. Visas are not required for tourists who will no longer than 21 days provided that they have an onward or return journey tickets and do not belong to restricted nationality. For long staying guests, visas are required, you can apply at the nearest Philippine consulate in your country of origin.

 

indent What is the weather in Philippines?

indent The Philippines is a tropical country with an average temperature of 32°C (80°F). March to June is hot and dry (36°C); rains and typhoons abound from July to October; November to February is pleasantly cool ( around 23°C) and dry. In mountainous regions, temperatures dip to about 15°C.

 

indent Are tender boats used?

indent Yes, all of our dives are conducted in small groups from tender boats ensuring quick entry and exit from the water.

 

indent Is there night diving?

indent If  the area the ship is anchored in , is conducive to night dives, then there will be night diving. If there isn’t the manager will arrange for a 4tn afternoon dive.

 

indent When is check-out time on the vessel?

indent The check-out time in the vessel is 0800am on the last day.

 

indent What wetsuit should I use in diving?

indent A 3mm full or shorty suit is more than adequate.

 

indent Are there gear rentals?

indent Yes we have gear for rent but we do NOT have torches/flashlights for rent. There are torches available for sale on board.

 

indent Where else can I go if I want to extend my holiday in the Philippines?

indent We have affiliate resorts we can book you in. We will be glad to arrange your extended booking and travel arrangements.

 

indent Does the ship have a satellite phone?

indent Yes. Rates are 1 USD per minute and parts there of.

 

indent Where is the nearest recompression chamber?

indent The nearest Recompression chamber is in Batangas  City.

 

indent How much should we tip?

indentGuests normally give between 10-20%  of the package price. Tip envelopes will be provided on the last day with a comment sheet. Please drop these in the tip box at the reception  counter.
